World Culture: Staff Benda Bilili

Staff Benda Bilili, from the Democratic Republic of Congo, are street musicians from Kinshasa, many of them disabled by polio. They describe themselves as the 'true journalists of Kinshasa' in the using their songs to document how the city's street kids, orphans, prostitutes and war refugees are 'the true heroes of this country'.
